PANEL is an OS/2 device driver that provides access to the eight character information panel provided on the IBM PS/2 Model 95 (8595 and 9595) systems.

The package includes:

The PANEL.SYS device driver
The associated README.TXT file
Two simple test programs, complete with example source (in C)
Source code

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

To install the driver, simply place the file PANEL.SYS in a convenient directory, then add the line:DEVICE=d:\path\PANEL.SYSto CONFIG.SYS, substituting for d:\path\ as appropriate. Then reboot.
