LibreCAD is a professional CAD System. With LibreCAD you can easily construct and change drawings with ISO-texts, accurate 2D representations of floorplans, part designs, and many other features and save them as DXF-files. These DXF-files are the interface to many CAD-systems such as AutoCAD(R) and many others.

LibreCAD is a 2D CAD drawing tool based on the community edition of QCAD.

LibreCAD has been re-structured and ported to Qt version 4 and works natively cross platform between OS X, Windows and Linux.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP/7 ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

You can install the prerequisites with rpm running the following string in a command line:

yum install libc libcx libgcc1 libssp libstdc++6 libstdc++ libsupc++6 libsupc++ libgcc-fwd qt5-qtbase*
