Cawf offre un set utilizzabile di funzionalità ridotte raw nroff. A differenza di groff, è piccolo e facile da installare ed usare . E' anche altamente portabile. L' archivio proposto include eseguibili OS/2 e codice sorgente completo.

Questo software è distribuito come pacchetto compresso, da scaricare e installare manualmente; se ci sono prerequisiti da soddisfare, andranno anch'essi scaricati e installati manualmente.

Installazione manuale

Il programma è distribuito come pacchetto ZIP: scaricare in una cartella temporanea e scompattare nella cartella di destinazione. Vedi sotto per il(i) link di download.

This is the version 4.10 distribution of cawf. Changes since version 4.09 include: * The ms macro MO string is now supported, including its modification by the .DA macro. * The general string register IF now contains the name of the current input file. It contains STDIN if the current input source is the standard input file.

* 4.07 changes include: o Support was added for OS/2, using the Microsoft or EMX GNU C compilers. The __EMX__ definition selects some code conditionally defined for the EMX GNU C compiler. The OS/2 support was provided by Darrel Hankerson <hankedr@mail.auburn.edu>. Executables may be obtained via anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.cdrom.com (192.153.46.2) in pub/os2/all/unix/cawf4*.zip.
