Elvis is a vi/ex clone with many additional features. It provides features such as syntax highlighting, display modes for MAN and HTML pages, support for HTTP and FTP.

The package contains versions for text mode and XFree86/2 and documentation in both HTML and OS/2 INF format.

Elvis is distributed under the terms of the "Clarified Artistic License."

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.
