AdvanceSCAN is a command line rom manager for MAME, MESS, xmame, AdvanceMAME, AdvanceMESS and Raine.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

Advance MAME Scanner v. 1.13 (20/8/2011, Mentore Siesto)	Readme/What's new	AdvDiff and AdvScan are two interesting utilities for MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator). I ported them under eCS using Paul Smedley's Build Environment for OS/2 and eCS, with GCC 4.52. For more information on how to use the programs, please refer to the official documentation available in the doc/ subdirectory. The binaries for eCS are stored in os2/bin, while the original sources (configured to build and install under GCC 4.52) are in the file src.zip. If you like, please consider sending me an email with your comments on my ports, suggestion on porting other software or other ideas, I will surely take a look!
